How this all began

As I started week four of my weight loss plan, I found that I am glad that I have a good coach along the way. So I thought why not start a blog. I had the host already. WordPress was supposed to be a piece of cake (something I am not eating right now :=)) and I wanted to gather information and journal to encourage me to keep going.

You see 4 weeks ago I was at 297 lbs. I swore to myself I would not go over 300 lbs. It is not that I have anything against people that do and are. I just hurt too much all over to let myself get any heavier. My blood pressure was at stage three and I knew I was 8 times more likely to get a heart attack.

Off to the fair where I enjoyed elephant ears (sugar and cinnamon) deep fat fried madness. Then there was ironman Jon. My wife and I stopped at the booth and I saw the claims for fast and healthy weight loss. I knew I had to dig into it further. Jon told me how he would be my coach and start teaching me the right way to loose weight and keep it off. I later found out he worked for a gym and had started his “Take Shape For Life” business when his clients asked him how they could lose the weight. I call him iron man because he does strongman body building and competes. He is also studying all about exercise and proper diet in his college classes. When he told me he had seen great results in his clients I just chose to believe he might know more then I did about the right way to loose weight fast.

So this is a journal of my journey to lose over 128 lbs. To weigh less then I did out of high school.
Come join me and lets motivate each other.
